Mechanical Designer
We are looking for a mechanical engineering designer who is passionate about motorized vehicles and will actively participate in the development of our next generation electric vehicle platform.
- Coordinate development steps, estimate new requirements and ensure optimal development and manufacturing costs
- Draw/design new parts/assemblies and/or make revisions to existing parts
- Ensure that a product can be manufactured reliably and consistently (product viability)
- Lead junior team members ensuring that all the team strengths are leveraged
Exigences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant experience as a designer
- Member of the Order of Engineers OIQ
- Minimum of 5 years in mechanical design in a manufacturing field in motorized or rolling stock (handling, transportation, construction, agricultural, urban, ambulance, bus … etc.)
Profil recherché:
- Leadership skills, teamwork and good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach
- Ability to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures
- Good written and verbal skills in French and English
- Computer skills; experience with CAD software (SolidWorks) and MS Office
